Deepest Sympathies

This week we have lost a great club man and great supporter in Pat Ranahan. A man who was a part of the creation of the Askeaton Ballysteen Kilcornan Bord Na Nog many years ago and was father to past and former Limerick footballers Pa Ranahan and Conor Ranahan and present club player Darragh Ranahan and fellow club members Sean Ranahan and Owen Ranahan.

His wife Mary has been a huge supporter to this club and the wider parish for many a year and where there’s been an Askeaton hurling match or Ballysteen football match, Mary and Pat have always been there. Pats sudden loss this week was not expected but he’s left a legacy through himself and through all of his sons. It’s hard to to fully describe what a loss it is to the parish but all who knew him knows he was a good man, father, husband, and club man.

All of us at Ballysteen GAA offer our deepest Condolences to Mary our brilliant Treasurer, his sons, daughters in law, grand children, extended family and friends our deepest condolences.
